An experienced insurance industry advisor and entrepreneur with nearly three decades in the business, Larry is thrilled to be a part of the Salt Jacket family. With integrity and thought at the core of all he does, Larry and his team provide exceptional customer service, working to inspire and protect your dreams whether you're purchasing a car, buying a new home, starting a small business or leaving behind a legacy with life insurance. Larry is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a Captain in the infantry and a medical service corp officer. In his off-work hours, Larry loves spending time on adventures with his wife, Lynne, and their two kids, Charlotte and Christopher, whether it's cheering them on at their sporting events, skiing, or visiting his original home state of Alaska together.
Darrel Snyder
Director of Operations
With over three decades in the insurance industry as an agency owner, trainer and corporate consultant, I love protecting customers and making sure their needs are met. I am thrilled to be a part of Salt Jacket Insurance Services as the Director of Operations. Our agency is focused on protecting what matters most to you by making sure you are covered to the best of our ability.
In my spare time, my wife and I love to try out new restaurants and have been involved in community theatre for many years with over 65 shows between us, she as an actor and me as a stage or tech director. I also have been a part of Forward Learning Institute for Financial Literacy for many years, teaching teachers how to teach about insurance and finances.
Julia Sommer Ramirez
Director of Marketing, Spanish/English
With over two decades of experience in advertising, PR, marketing, public affairs and events, Julia has worked on brands both large and small across nearly every industry as a writer, producer, strategist and PR executive. She has worked on campaigns for Amazon, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Mitsubishi, Evian, General Motors, Coldwell Banker, Skechers, Red Bull, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Nestlé, along with creating PR, digital and social media campaigns for celebrity clients and political public figures.
Julia is thrilled to bring that knowledge to Salt Jacket to oversee daily brand management, internal and external communications and to make sure our customers understand the offerings that Salt Jacket brings to the table. In her spare time, Julia loves hanging out with her kids, traveling the world and the arts.
Roxanne Camp
Sales Manager
Roxanne joined the Salt Jacket Insurance team in 2021 to cultivate the Commercial and Expanded Market Department, utilizing her 25+ years of experience in the industry. She enjoys building new client relationships and strives to provide exemplary customer service. She believes all policyholders should be aware of their risk exposures. It is her personal goal to help her clients understand what insurance policies make sense for them so she can provide them with proper coverage.
Roxanne is a native Texan who enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs. You can find her kayaking, cross-fitting, camping, or Jeepin in her free time. She is an animal advocate and a member of a fantastic Jeep club. She enjoys giving back to her community and participating in various fundraisers.
Veronica Tejada
Service Manager, Spanish/English
In 2004, I started working as a receptionist for an insurance agent. Answering phones was not enough for me therefore in 2006, I decided to get licensed. Forward to today and here I am, still protecting what is most important to our customers and helping them understand their coverages. I truly love what I do, and I know I make a difference in people’s lives. You can always count on me to go above and beyond for our customers.
When I am not working, you will find me in the kitchen, with my husband, creating meals for our family. We love trying new recipes and sharing them with our daughter and two sons. Sometimes, even our Goldendoodle unintentionally gets to try some of the delicious food. Our family also stays active by working out in our home gym, competing in fitness competitions, and running a few races throughout the year, working toward my first half-marathon!
Bob Simko

Originally from Indiana, Bob spent most of his adult life in great state of Colorado before moving to Texas, which he now calls home.
Bob has been in the insurance industry since beginning of 2021 and has loved his time here at Salt Jacket. One of the things he really loves about working in insurance, is the opportunity to help people to protect what's important to them, and to answer questions to make sure they get the best service and rates possible. It really makes him feel like he’s making a difference in people's lives, and that's what it's all about!
Susan Miller
Customer Experience Manager
Susan joined the Salt Jacket Insurance team (then the Slocum Agency) in 2021 to help develop the Commercial and Expanded Market Department. With over 25 years in the industry, she enjoys providing great values and seeking out custom solutions to each client’s unique situation whether it is for personal or business insurance. Outside of the office, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young grandson.
Cindy Stacy
Service Manager
Cindy has been working in the insurance industry since 2008 and has been part of the Salt Jacket Insurance service team since 2018. She loves helping our customers and wants to make sure they are protected with adequate coverage. She and her husband have been married since 1996. They are now empty nesters and very excited to finally travel more! She has two beautiful children, a son and a daughter, both of whom are college graduates. She’s so proud of them! In her spare time, Cindy loves spending time with her granddaughter, her family and friends, and with her two beloved dogs, Moo and Loo.
Rebekah Roberts

Rebekah is a licensed sales representative who started working in insurance in 2020. She has loved how her job offers her the opportunity to help others to get the coverage they need to protect their families. She strives to build a relationship with all of her customers to ensure that they are well-taken care of.
During her free time, she enjoys playing with her fur babies and cooking. She would love to help you and your family get the protection you need today, she also loves referrals and would love to help any of your friends and family.

Krista loves being a part of the Salt Jacket team. She has been doing insurance since 2020 and enjoys building relationships and uncovering gaps in insurance to better protect what you work so hard for, which drives everything that she does.
Krista lives in Tucson, Arizona but was born and raised in Oregon her whole life. She has 4 kids at home, 3 girls and a boy. When she’s not working, she spends most of her time running them around to sports and different activities. Krista loves having a busy household and raising her children to be the best versions of themselves they can be.
Amber Bellis

Amber has been in the customer service industry since 2006 and loves being a part of the Salt Jacket team. It is her mission to help our customers discover the finest policies that fit their individual and unique needs. Amber makes an effort to customize every policy to insure and safeguard everything you work so diligently for.
She lives in Texas with her two amazing children. Together, they love to explore new places when they are not running around for school activities. Raising her children has been her greatest joy and her greatest accomplishment.

Liza has been working in insurance since 2007. She takes pride in guiding customers through complex policies to give them peace of mind. She feels that it's important for all policy holders to fully understand their risk and exposures.
Liza is a born and raised Houstonian. Her free time is spent with her husband and children. Liza actively gives back to the homeless community of Houston with bi-annual homeless drives. She also enjoys reading a good book or two. Faith, family and work!

Nathaly Navarrete

Nataly was born in El Salvador and has been in Texas since 2016. She started her career in insurance back in 2021 & has stayed ever since. Nathaly is fluent in both Spanish and English, which helps her to better communicate with all of her customers. In her spare time, Nathaly loves being out and about, especially on road trips with her beautiful daughter & awesome husband. They love taking their daughter to the movies as a family or spending quality time relaxing together at home.
Lindsay Broyles

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Lindsey came to Texas at a young age and spent most of her years in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She spent two years studying Psychology at Trinity Valley College, which she believes has helped in her career be able to read people and have a better sense of understanding. She’s been in the insurance industry as a sales professional since 2019. She enjoys providing customers with a better understanding of what their insurance protects them for, and navigating them through the process of purchasing policies. She has a young daughter that she spends most of her time with when she’s not working and she can be found running around to cheer competitions and gymnastics events for her. She also enjoys reading books, riding bikes on nature paths, and hanging out with family and friends!

Outside of work, she is the mother to two young, smart and beautiful little ladies who help her to be a better person and also teach her to let her hair down and have some fun! She’s been happily married since 2012 to her wonderful, supportive husband. Their family enjoys taking their Boston terrier, Marty McFly, to the dog park for walks and to meet new furry friends. They loves trying new restaurants and coming back home to recreate the recipes at home, spending time with family and creating new memories together.

Robert Torres joined Salt Jacket Insurance Services (then known as the Slocum Agency) in 2019, bringing 9 years of insurance product knowledge to his current position. Robert loves that he has a great opportunity every day at this agency to provide the service our customers deserve and he loves being able to facilitate our customers’ financial security. He is honored and proud to be a part of the Salt Jacket family.
Robert lives in the Texas Hill Country with his wife and children. When not at work, Robert loves being outdoors on the weekends, spending my time hunting and gardening.

Lili has been married for over a decade and has two wonderful boys that keep her on her toes! Between band, basketball, soccer, and kickball you can find Lili at any field and she wouldn‘t change it for anything. She enjoys spending every moment she can with her whole family. She comes from a big family with six siblings, so rest assured, it’s never a dull moment!
