Job Overview 

The Account Manager’s primary role is to drive retention in the agency by preserving customers. AMs are expected to look for an opportunity to cross-sell. This is done through actively calling customers for annual insurance reviews to fill gaps in coverages, offer cross-sell opportunities and correct compliance issues policies may present. Account managers run daily reports and create workflows that will show multiple attempts to reach out to customers. Account Managers may also be asked to handle service requests if needed due to call volume or staffing.  

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Conduct File Reviews  

  • Look for opportunities to cross-sell 

  • Be able to Quote and bind policies  

  • Complete rewrites, spin offs, split offs, and transfer ins 

  • Help save customer from cancelling by offering a review of their policies  

  • Follow-up with customers to answer any inquiries 

  • Respond to emails 

  • Handle service requests when needed 

  • Ask for Google Reviews 

  • Ask for referrals 

  • Winback 

  • Pull Daily Reports 

Qualifications 

  • Must hold current P&C insurance licenses  

  • Organizational Skills    

  • Detail Oriented    

  • Prioritize and Multitask   

  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening   

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision   

  • Self-motivated
